Line Tangles
Equipment: Chalkboard and chalk, eraser, balance equipment.
Purpose: Develop oculomotor skills, vestibular-ocular coordination.
Procedure: Write a column of three letters on one side of the board and a column of three letters on the other side of the board.
Draw “tangled” lines from one side to the other side. Ask patient, standing or seated about 6 feet away, to tell you where the line starting at 1 ends up.
Gradations:

- Increase the complexity of the lines.
- Increase the length of the columns.
- Have patient stand up, or stand on a balance board, or on a trampoline and untangle the lines.
